Our Vision

McMillian Entertainment Consulting,  parent company to Triangle Virtual Media, is a music industry consulting and virtual marketing business. We believe that Music is the “Voice of the People” and a resource for wellness of body, mind and spirit. We also seek to prepare aspiring entertainers with resources and information, to help them navigate a very challenging and competitive environment.

We are passionate about how music is represented, no matter the genre. As seasoned industry professionals, there is no “retirement”. We all still share the music with people in our community whenever opportunity presents itself. In some cases, we provide rare access to music and entertainment for groups like  the elderly or sick by taking the music to them.

Artist Development

Whatever your genre, presentation is golden. Presenters look for quality, irrespective of their budget. They still want the best effort. MEC prides itself on partnering with seasoned professionals who understand and drive home the need for artists to be dignified and dedicated. MEC was created to service all entities by providing artist development for aspiring and professional artists. Every detail of how the artist wants to be perceived must be executed for ultimate outcome. “Sweat the small stuff. It counts!” Artists should be committed to educating and enhancing their skills, set goals and develop a plan for their vision.

MEC offers a customized mentoring program for vocalists in pursuit of a career as a wedding or corporate performer. The mentor and the client will each sign a pledge to invest the time and energy required to insure the client can meet their individual goals.Phase I – Evaluation/Goals/Commitment

Phase II – Customizing a program

Phase III – Creating program tools, Repertoire, Vocal coaching

Phase IV – Performance techniques, Vocal rehearsals

Phase V – Business Administration/Photo Session

The primary goal is to prepare the client to be an active, viable participant in the wedding band circuit. By the end of Phase II, they are usually able to teach the mentor a thing or two.
